VIKING RING - ULFHEDNAR
In Norse mythology, wolves are featured prominently in many sagas and artifacts, often with different meanings and symbolic representations. Fenrir, the son of Loki and Angrboða, is one of the central figures, prophesied to break free from his chains, swallow the sun and moon, and ultimately devour Odin during the Battle of Ragnarök.
However, not all wolves in Norse mythology are seen as evil. Odin, the Allfather, is often depicted with two loyal wolves named Geri and Freki. These faithful companions followed Odin into battle and roamed by his side. The Ulfhednar, the wolf warriors, were renowned for their fierce loyalty and strength, often compared to the berserkers. This handcrafted Viking ring is inspired by the strength and fearlessness of these legendary warriors.
