VIKING NECKLACE - WOLF AXE
Wolves were a prominent feature in many Nordic artifacts and legends, often with varying meanings. Fenrir, one of the key figures in the legends, was the son of Loki and Angrboða. It was foretold that he would break free from the chains that bound him, devour the sun and the moon, and ultimately consume Odin during the battle of Ragnarök.
In addition to Fenrir, other wolves in Norse mythology were not always seen as evil. Odin was often depicted with two wolves by his side, named "Geri" and "Freki." These loyal companions followed him into battle and roamed alongside him in his journeys.
This Viking necklace features a wolf and axe design, representing both the strength of the wolf and the warrior spirit symbolised by the axe—an iconic weapon in Norse culture.
