VIKING NECKLACE - VEGVISIR ARROW
The Vegvisir, literally meaning "that which shows the way," is known as the Viking Compass. It is believed that the Vegvisir symbol helps the wearer find their way, especially in rough conditions or during uncertain times. Mentioned in the Huld Manuscript, compiled by Geir Vigfusson, this powerful symbol has long been regarded as a guide for navigating the challenges of life. Derived from the Icelandic words "Vegur" (meaning "way") and "Visir" (meaning "signpost"), Vegvisir translates directly to "wayfinder."
The inclusion of the arrow design enhances the symbolism, representing direction, focus, and the precision needed to find one's true path. The arrow serves as a reminder of the clarity and strength required to stay on course in life's journey.
