VIKING NECKLACE - GOLDEN VEGVISIR RUNIC CIRCLE
The Vegvisir, often referred to as the Viking compass, literally means "that which shows the way." It is believed that this symbol helped its bearer find their path, especially in harsh or stormy conditions. The Vegvisir is mentioned in the Huld Manuscript, compiled by Geir Vigfusson, and is a powerful symbol of guidance.
The term "Vegvisir" comes from the Old Norse words "Vegur," meaning "way," and "Visir," meaning "pointer," making it literally a "wayfinder," guiding travelers and warriors through difficult journeys.
