VIKING BRACELET - NORDIC WOLF

Wolves were present in many Nordic artefacts and sagas, often with different meanings. Fenrir was one of the central figures in the tales, the son of Loki and Angrboða. It was prophesied that he would break free from the chains that bound him, swallow the sun and moon, and devour Odin in the battle of Ragnarök.

There were also other wolves in Norse mythology that were not all considered evil. Odin was often depicted with two wolves by his side, named "Geri" and "Freki." These loyal companions followed him into battle and roamed by his side.

Jewellery has been present in Nordic civilisation since the dawn of time. The Vikings placed great importance on their image and aesthetics, contrary to what one might initially think of them.

In fact, beyond the image of pillaging and battle-hungry warriors, there were also men and women who were passionate about creating and crafting ornaments.

Bracelets were among the most popular pieces of jewellery in Viking culture. Whether made from silver, gold, leather, or other natural materials like wood and bone, each Viking bracelet tells its own story.
