THOR'S HAMMER NECKLACE - WOTAN'S KNOT
In Norse mythology, Mjölnir refers to the hammer wielded by the thunder god Thor. Mjölnir means "Crusher" in Old Norse.
Mjölnir frequently appears in Norse sagas and was considered the most powerful weapon ever made. It had the ability to destroy entire mountain ranges with a single blow and granted Thor numerous powers, including the ability to summon lightning.
Mjölnir pendants became particularly popular as Christianity spread throughout Europe, and people wore them as a symbol of defiance against newly converted Christians.
The Wotan's Knot, or Valknut, is a symbol associated with Odin, the god of war and wisdom. It represents the transition between life and death, and the bond between Odin and fallen warriors who are welcomed into Valhalla.
