VIKING NECKLACE - NORDIC COMPASS
Vegvisir, literally meaning "that which shows the way," is known as the Viking compass. It is believed that the Vegvisir symbol helps the wearer find their way, especially in harsh weather conditions. This symbol is mentioned in the Huld manuscript, compiled by Geir Vigfusson, and was considered a powerful guide during the Viking Age.
The term "Vegvisir" is derived from the Icelandic words "Vegur" meaning "way" and "Visir" meaning "pointer," making it literally a "waypointer." This necklace represents guidance, protection, and the Viking spirit of adventure, ensuring that the wearer remains on the right path, no matter the challenges ahead.
